Hop aboard the trinichellu, little train, and stop off in the village of Novella. The train station, restored into a gîte, welcomes groups of visitors and hikers all year round.
Come and discover a charming village with a superb view over the Ostriconi. Between the sea and the mountains and at the heart of the Pieve di U Canale, this village prospered for many years thanks to olive production. The Maison des Orabona, large landowners in the area, bears witness to a rich past with the Italian-style architecture of the façades and interior of the bourgeois houses. The impressive balcony overlooks the village.
Come closer to the centre of the village and you will see the old neighbourhoods with paved streets and arched passageways. Come inside Santa Croce Parish Church and admire the remarkable interior decoration listed as a Historical Monument. Lovers of nature and hiking, set off on one of the Balagne trails which leave from this charming village.
