Sea and treasures…

The easiest way to get to the superb beach of Calvi is to take the wooden pathway which runs alongside it. It is simple, elegant and romantic.

The beach covers almost 4 kilometres and the fine sand is an immaculate white colour, to delight all beach lovers out there. Come and lie down on your towel, or a chic thatched-style sun lounger, and admire the breath-taking view before you of the Genoese citadel and Christopher Columbus’ city. The slight slope here and waters which are never too deep are perfect for children, even the very young. You can let them paddle in the sea to their heart’s content, and also build some imaginative sandcastles. However, they will most certainly tell you that the soft, fine sand is tickling their little hands!

Take to the seas!

Are you looking for a more active holiday? Well then come and climb aboard a pedalo boat, towed rubber ring or a jet-ski. Discover the beach of Calvi from the sea, with  hundred-year-old pine trees in the background. You could also brave the waves or explore the sea bed. Finally, let yourself be tempted by lunch out before your dip in the sea, or even a romantic candle-lit dinner with your feet in the sand. In any case, you will find lots to do at the beach in Calvi.

Then, little by little, the smooth white sand is replaced by green shades. The pine forest next to the beach has other leisure activities on offer. There is a tennis club, tree-top adventure course, the playground in the sand U Sbiru, as well as picnic tables so you can spend some quality time here as a family.

Dancing on the sand…

Every year, the beach in Calvi is transformed into a temporary stage. Between the mountains and the sand, where the blue of the sky merges with the blue of the sea, the music from Calvi On The Rocks fills the air, then, this air purifies the music. With your feet in the water and rhythm in your bones, you will be carried away by the magic of this festival and experience the true festive spirit of Calvi.

The beach according to Maia!

Under the creative eye of the photographer artist Maia Flore, the beach in Calvi will finally unveil it’s secret, poetic, unexpected and musical sides! She particularly managed to capture these magical moments with the Meridianu group and we are delighted to share these moments with you.
