Dive into the heart of the very first jazz festival organized by the Munticellu in Festa association in Balagne! For the closing evening, vibrate to the rhythms of guitarists Fanou Torracinta & Hugo Guezbar, and discover the David Sauzay Quartet in the second half.

- Opening the evening, guitarists Fanou Torracinta & Hugo Guezbar :

Fanou Torracinta and Hugo Guezbar are the new representatives of today's gypsy scene. The younger Hugo, who never ceases to impress with his virtuosity, sensitivity and musical brilliance, has been evolving in the world of Django's music since childhood, at the crossroads between traditional gypsy jazz and its evolution brought about by the master Bireli Lagrène. Fanou, u Balaninu is best known for his Gipsy Guitar From Corsica project, with which he released two volumes in 2021 and 2023, featuring his own compositions and a unique interpretation of Gypsy style.
It was during a meeting in 2018 that the two guitarists decided to play together, apparently at the end of a day in the small village of Pigna. They were immediately drawn together by the culture of Django Reinhardt, but also by their love of melody and music in the broadest sense of the term. They begin recording an album in 2023, for release in early 2025.
The project, built around tributes to the master and evocations of music from South America and Spain, will take you on a journey into their virtuoso, sensitive and passionate world.
