Quintina is a women's polyphonic quartet from Corsica and around the world. The four singers, united by their passion for the beauty and magic of vocal harmony, share a common desire: to discover and share the songs that, in Corsica and around the world, tell and celebrate everyday life, from love to mourning, from peace to revolt, from joys to worries, from the pastoral world to modernity.

Quintina's repertoire is an invitation to plunge into the heart of the island's wealth of polyphonic songs: from secular to sacred, from popular to learned, from traditional to recent Riacquistu creations. But their concert is also an invitation to travel and discover polyphonic songs from other cultures and peoples around the world: Sardinian, Basque, Georgian, Bulgarian and Gypsy. The quartet aims to bring island music into dialogue with these songs, which are a source of openness, evolution and enrichment, but also of understanding of oneself and the world.

The quartet, formed in 2019, hails from the Ajaccio basin. The four young women have chosen to call their group Quintina, meaning "the voice of the angel", that musical singularity peculiar to polyphony, that fifth voice, high and crystalline, which sometimes bursts forth when four voices resonate in harmony. It is at once the most beautiful mystery of polyphony, the purest manifestation of harmony, and the symbol of the group's unity.
