fontaine saint antoine calenzana

Saint Antoine de Padoue was a priest of Portuguese origins. He was born in Lisbon in 1195.

He is credited with the miracle of finding things that have disappeared since he made reappear, in the barrel from which he had escaped, the wine of the family that housed him.

Saint Anthony is celebrated on June 13 each year. It is the inhabitants of the district who open the chapel and maintain it.

Drinking water fountains: to reduce our consumption of plastic bottles, the Calvi Balagne Community of Communes has listed the drinking water fountains on its territory.
