Suarina is a musical group founded on the friendship of three young women with a passion for music. As cultural activists, their group is an important tool for them in defending their language and culture.

With diverse backgrounds and influences, they are united by a single quest for harmony, both musical and human. The universe born of this female encounter is a subtle blend of the traditional technique of Corsican polyphonic singing, u cantu in paghjella, with the synthesis of their many and varied musical inspirations.

Although the vocal structure is rooted in tradition, the overall sound is rather modern. This plurality even gives rise to a certain complementarity: their versatile voices intermingle with originality.

After an initial phase of covers and song adaptations, the Suarina group is now turning its attention to creative work. Indeed, renowned songwriters such as Alain Di Meglio, Patrizia Gattaceca, Ceccè Lanfranchi, Ghjuvan Federiccu Terrazzoni and Nicolas Sorba have entrusted the group with several texts.
