Spartera is Corsican for "sharing". This ensemble of six singers and musicians invite you to share their passion for Corsican music.

Spartera is a vocal and musical ensemble born in 2016, composed of six singers and musicians based mainly in Haute Corse.

“Sharing”, as the name of the training suggests, is central to the group's vision and conception of singing; just like the transmission and the pleasure of singing.
Anxious to preserve the authenticity of Corsican song, Spartera offers services rooted in the traditional island heritage: polyphonic and acoustic concerts with vocals and guitars, traditional mass sung in polyphony, song / music entertainment combining ancient Corsican repertoire and contemporary songs ...

During its concerts, Spartera offers the public as wide a panel as possible of songs from the island culture, with an explanation and description of these songs. An important part is reserved for polyphony, sacred and secular, other songs are presented accompanied on the guitar, in a relatively uncluttered style. The ensemble sometimes interprets monodies of the sirinatu or lamentu type.

The basic idea remains the exchange with the public and the sharing.
