Sébastien Roué

The Renaissance de l'Orgue Corse works to preserve Corsica's organ heritage. It promotes the organ heritage by organizing concerts, festivals and training courses.

Sébastien Roué studied organ and harpsichord with Olivier Vernet, Marie-Anne Pottier, Françoise Marmin and finally Françoise Lengellé at the CNSM in Lyon. He received the encouragement of Gustav Leonhard, Christophe Rousset, as well as
Christophe Coin during Master-Class. He obtained his diploma in June 2004, with honors.
He regularly performs in concert with Le concert de L'Hostel-Dieu, as well as in recital on the harpsichord or organ (CNSM of Lyon, Museums of Dauphiné and Tissues & Decorative Arts of Lyon, Vincennes, Auch, Annecy, Tours at the Festival des Méridiennes, Festival Renaissance de l'Orgue Corse, Museum of Chambéry in 2017...).
Holder of the Certificat d'Aptitude for the teaching of harpsichord and early music in 2006, he was recruited at the CRR of Annecy as a professor of harpsichord and basso continuo. Every two years he organizes a "Harpsichord Party" where harpsichord makers and great performers are invited.
He is currently teaching at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional
Jacques Thibaud of Bordeaux.

Accommodation and meals are the responsibility of the trainees.

  • Opening period

    From Monday 15 to Friday 19 July 2024.
    A closing concert by the trainees accompanied by their teacher is scheduled for Friday July 19 at 6pm in Vallica.
