Meridianu:
"A music rooted in Corsican cultural heritage, that sings of the present day".

The Meridianu group was born in inland Balagne, where centuries-old olive trees flourish. Like the roots of the tree of peace, it is in this land steeped in history that Meridianu draws the inspiration and strength it expresses in its songs. This year, the group has chosen to present its new show as a trio!

For the group, cultural heritage is the foundation on which the present is built, and from which the future is forged. Today, Meridianu strives to pursue this mission by going out into the villages in search of the last songs that can still be found. But despite the great effort made to restore the authenticity of the songs of Corsica's past, it is from these solid foundations that the group sings the songs of the present day. The choice of complementarity between tradition and modernity is their natural approach.

They live their own culture intensely, sharing it by reaching out to others, exchanging ideas to appreciate what brings them together. But also to perceive differences as enrichment. These are the values that the group has chosen to share with the public!
