I Muvrini

I Muvrini, "small mouflons" in Corsica, was born from the project of two brothers from the Bastia region, Jean-François and Alain Bernardini. Their father, Jules, is a renowned Corsophone poet and musician.

It is therefore with their father that the brothers discover the traditional music of Corsica and learn the art of polyphony.
From the beginning of the 1970s, the two brothers accompanied their father during singing competitions.

In 1979, the group released their first album, "Ti Ringrazianu", in which a tribute was paid to Jules Bernardini.

The group is quickly joined by a set of musicians, choristers and instrumentalists from various backgrounds, who contribute to the artistic richness of their production.
