Camerata Figarella

Camerata Figarella is the evocation of a court of musicians in a kingdom without kings or castles. The setting for this court is the Corsican village of Figarella, and the musicians who inhabit it are young, talented Corsican and European instrumentalists.

Members include musicians from Europe's leading orchestras, such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France and Bayerische Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester, as well as young chamber musicians and soloists.

Each program is a musical creation, a tribute to instrumental music. Weaving a sometimes-forgotten link between popular and scholarly repertoire, the musicians of la camerata bring to the stage traditional Corsican dances, baroque repertoire and the great masterpieces of twentieth-century chamber music.

As in previous years, their touring classical music festival offers a variety of concerts featuring virtuoso artists from Corsica and Europe. With a stopover in Pigna, to once again thrill the stones of the Auditorium! A unique date every year, not to be missed.
