Balagne Corsica

Corsican gastronomy also means wine... The "Domaine Alzipratu" is located in the inland part of Balagne. Basking in the Mediterranean climate, the vineyard also enjoys the contrasting influence of the nearby mountains. Wines in Protected Designation of Origin Corsica Calvi.

The estate is made up of 43 hectares divided into two terroirs: 6 ha in front of the estate and 37 ha in the Upper Figarella valley at the foot of the Bonifato forest. Its wine bears the identity and character of the Corsican terroir.

- The cuvée "Fiume Seccu" - the dry river - in Red, Rosé and White
- The "Pumonte" vintage - beyond the mountains - also in Red, Rosé and White.

The grape varieties ...

A collection of 9 traditional island grape varieties, expressed through a range of 11 wines. The use of this diversity of grape varieties is associated with cultivation methods that respect the environment, helping to offer wines of true typicity.
The estate's grape varieties: Sciaccarellu, Niellucciu, Vermentinu, Biancu Gentile, Syrah, Grenache, Minustellu, Aleaticu.

Located in the center of the domain, a delicatessen to discover the wines and a selection of traditional Corsican products: olive oils, vinegars, terrines, saffron, tapenades, honey, jams ....

The climate, traditional grape varieties, soils made up of granite arenas, environmentally friendly cultivation methods, our vinification: everything contributes to offering wines that reflect the true typicity and strong identity of Corsican wines.

Rates

Free entry. From May until September, Domaine Alzipratu proposes an intimate experience, discovering the flavours of Corsica and the aromas of its wines on a vineyard, oenology and wine-tasting tour.
Visits daily on request (varying times: 10 am or 5.30 pm)

Rates : from 32 to 62 € depending on the type of visit and service.

    Shop opening hours:
    April, May and October: Monday to Friday 9 am to 12 noon, then 1.00 pm to 6 pm
    June to September: Monday to Friday 9 am to 12 noon, then 2 pm to 7 pm - Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 12 noon, then 3 pm to 7 pm.
