Balagne Corsica

In the heart of the old district of "U Tricello", this church was built in 1640. Twice a year, in early August and on 6 December, the statue of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of the village, is carried here in procession from the chapel on the edge of the village.

elle renferme notamment un tableau représentant Sainte Dévote "Regina di Corsica" et un harmonium monumental de marque Alexandre, classé au titre des monuments historiques, Il s'agit probablement de l'unique harmonium monumental de Corse. La statue de Saint Nicolas, oeuvre acquise à Bari en Italie, en 1857, entourée de 4 colonnes, pèse 440 Kg ; il faut en général une douzaine d'hommes pour la porter.
