Sand and Corsican Immortelle

If there is one place on earth which is ideal for recharging your batteries, it is here in the little coves of Ondari and Arinella. If you take the coastal road in Lumio, you will find a quiet residental area at the end of the road. Here, hidden in the rocks, you will discover the small coves. The golden sand blends with small stones and stretches down as far as the crystal-clear, deep blue waters. Young explorers with their nets will love searching for small fish, crabs and other shellfish. The more patient among you may even catch a glimpse of the eye of Saint Lucie.

An exceptional view…

If we had to describe the charm of Ondari and Arinella in just one word, we would choose the word “view”. Lying on your towel, sitting on the rocks or bathing in the water, you will be able to admire the peaks of Montegrossu and the gulf and citadel of Calvi. A moment of absolute relaxation awaits you. One piece of advice however… wait patiently for the sunset! You will see the sun go down through the rocks and behind Revellata which stands on the horizon. It is an absolutely superb moment, simple yet unforgettable. This dream setting is also filled with the scent of wild Corsican immortelle, the prized plant of the area.

Finally, if you wish to do so, you can hire a sun lounger, go for a hearty meal or just enjoy a drink at the only “straw hut”, the Matahari.
