Come and discover Belgodere, the village which stands proudly on a rocky headland, overlooking Regino Valley.

Follow in the footsteps of the Marquis de Massa, powerful Feudal lord, who, one day during the year 1268 climbed up to the peak of the teghje (rocks) and then decided to come and settle here.

Explore the fortified part of Belgodere village, you won’t regret the detour! Go through one of the archways and wander around the Cima du Fondu and Cabanne quarters. Climb to the top of the teghje on the ruins of the ancient tower, and enjoy the superb view which awaits you.

Make sure you take the time to stop by the centre of the village, to take a moment on the terrace of one of the cafés there, and then head over to the Parish church which is listed as a historical monument. Don’t forget to look up as you leave the village, if you’re heading towards Costa, to catch a glimpse of Château Malaspina.
