Organised by the Association Sportive Automobile Corsica, the Balagne Rally is an official French Motorsports Federation event. The results of the Rally are taken into account for the French Cup and the Corsican league championship, as well as the ASA challenge.

The 26th Rallye National de Balagne covers a total distance of 379.290 km. It is divided into 3 stages and 5 sections. It includes 7 special stages with a total length of 109.380 km:

SS 2 and 3: Galeria / Notre Dame de la Serra: 27.770 km x 2 = 55.540 km

Stage 3: L'Ile-Rousse / L'Ile-Rousse
SS 4 and 6 Plaine de Montemaggiore / Avapessa: 13.070 km x 2 = 26.140 km
SS 5 and 7 Muro / Reginu: 11.390 km x 2 = 22.780 km
