As every year, the U Spaziu Pasquale Paoli cultural center hosts a number of exhibitions. This week, come and discover the paintings of artist Danièle Badet.
A doctor for over 30 years, she escaped into painting. In her spare time, she has explored various techniques: ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, and has had the opportunity to exhibit some of her works. Today, living most of the year in Corsica, she has more time to paint and devotes herself to oil painting. She discovered color through the island's marvelous landscapes: mountains, torrents and seascapes were her first source of inspiration. Fascinated by water - whether calm or tormented - she has painted it throughout her life, seeking to express its power and mystery. Combining the power of vivid colors and the subtlety of gradations, undoubtedly translating the swaying of her soul, her works are part of a search for reality, while transforming it to create a singular atmosphere. Through her painting, she seeks above all to convey a soul.
