Theatrical adaptation in Corsican of Cervantes' Don Quixote by the Unita Teatrale team
Don Ch'è Rottu is a dizzying reflection on humanity, identity and the quest for meaning. Is Don Quixote crazy, or has the world gone mad? Doesn't it take an enlightened person to oppose this macabre turn of events? Wouldn't it be better to resist, even if it means not really recognizing the enemies, but saying loud and clear that it's no longer possible to live like this, and that love and persuasion need to be put back on track? Considered one of the most important novels in world literature, and the first modern novel, Don Quixote is the most widely read book in the world after the Bible. Don Quixote appears three times: once alone and twice in the company of Sancho Panza. The Unita Teatrale company presents the 1st episode of this adaptation in a show featuring actors, singers and puppets.
