You will be pleasantly surprised by the smallest village in Balagne. Costa is a special place: between the ancient stone houses and arched passageways, this village can only be discovered on foot.
The beautiful 17th-century Maison Malaspina is attached to the town hall and overlooks one of the arched passageways. Take a moment at the Piazza Cumuna. Stop in front of the Church of Saint Sauveur and go inside to admire the paintings, statues of olive trees and the beautiful organ.
If you are feeling thirsty, carry on to the 17th-century wash-house where you will find the purest of waters flowing from the fountain.
